This is the only Rinse Out show that I actually recorded myself in Grimsby. It was very hard to get reception for 88.1 that far from Toronto because Ryerson just didn't have the resources for the transmitter power to reach across the lake. So after trying various things including running an extremely long cable from the antenna port on the receiver up into and around a tree outside my house and still not getting a usable Stereo signal, I had to switch over to Mono just to be able to get anything recordable. Also the bass is pretty distorted due to some other technical problems with the setup I was using at the time.
Anyways, after getting all of that out of the way, we get ourselves an A side of the Rinse Out show with Medicine Muffin featuring guest DJ Freaky Flow in the house. The only time he's appeared on a Jungle Tape on our site so far. Some interesting tunes that I've never heard before and one of my all time favourite station sound bites "I'm no drug smuggler, I'm a grandmother"
No B side on this tape because for some reason when the auto reverse flipped over it affected the reception and the whole B side was pretty much static.
