1999.11.19 - Jungle Airwaves - MC Mirage Rinse

Recorded 2 nights before the big Empire Fullcycle 2000 party with special guest Bill Reilly, this show almost didn't get recorded because I started out the night recording the Renegade Airwaves show.  I just had some kind of hunch about switching the deck to record Jungle Airwaves that night and this turned out to be the last great MC show of 1999.  With about 20 minutes left on Side A, Ruckus, a regular from Toronto touches down with the MC Mirage from the UK, who goes on to blow up the mic.  Seriously, it's an absolute tear-down, there is no disputing that MC Mirage was on the same level as some of the greats like Fearless & Skibadee, he's that good.  Ruckus matches him beat for beat too, no denying that he was hot on the decks that night.

The begining of the show is pretty good too, we've got the Professor Squinty on the decks bringing some ragga classics.  Overall a great tape, continues to get lots of plays to this day.
