Update June 2016:
Summer was on its way when this show dropped. Tape has been updated to include Jennifer's copy of the show, which has got the really phat bass thanks to the Type II tape used. Nicely timed shout out to the bad men Everfresh and Lush at the start of Side B thanks to the 45 minute tape sides.

Back in the day this was my favourite tape from the spring of 1999, and was the tape I played for other people when I was trying to get them interested in jungle and The Prophecy. From a technical perspective this tape has got really nice stereo separation and the reception is above par. This was the first tape where I ever heard how closely connected jungle and hip hop were, hip hop is usually about half the BPM's of jungle which makes it easy to do things like mix in an a cappella overtop of a tune, which is exactly what Ruckus does at the end of side A. Interesting note, this was the last Prophecy I recorded before my first rave - Full Exposure @ The Better Living Centre. I went to that party with Chris. Good times.
What I rated the sets back in the day:
DJ RUCKUS 3.5/5
DJ PRIME 2.5/5
MC CADDY CAD 2/5
