This recording is a 2nd gen copy of the B side of my friend John's tape. Didn't have a spare tape but there was about 30 unused minutes on my copy of the Old School Show so recorded this at the end of side B on that tape and ended up with a 2 hour old school jungle tape. Reception is good but the original tape didn't use any NR so we get the mad tape hiss.
As far as the track selection and the commentary by Marcus and Everfresh you just gotta give it a listen, lots of your favorite old school jungle classics, trust me.
Original Recording Set-up is unknown but it would have been recorded in Grimsby Ontario. This copy was made by playing the 1st gen copy on a Sony Tape deck going into the Luxman K-100 using a Radio Shack y-adapter.

When I started digitizing tapes I was excited to find someone on the internet with a longer recording of this show. The mix on the A side is just as good as it is on Side B. Unfortunately this rip is a bit glitched out, there's some weird stuff going on with it, like the time of the recording displaying wrong in iTunes, there's some occational dropped samples, a moment of cell phone interference and some underground hip hop and radio scanning at the end of the recording. I've been experimenting making two MP3s of this show, doing an edit of each tape side and running the whole recording through a normalizer with mixed results. Lucky for the massive I was able to save the torontojungletapes mp3 before the link went dead, enjoy the original download right here:
