1999.06.13 - The Prophecy - Shabba D & TC Izlam Night - Side B (Mike's Tape)

This is one of the better Prime sets, and the MC's really tear things up when they touch down around the 31:20 mark.

TC Izlam has this moment early on where the music sort of dies out halfway through the track and he just keeps on MC'ing, doesn't even stop to catch his breath.  

This is one of those magic 'you never know who's gonna touch down' moments that made The Prophecy so special back in the day.  You just don't hear MC'ing on the show like you used to anymore.  

Prime also totally changes his style when the MC's touch down turning an ok set into an absolute rinse, one of the best MC sets ever recorded onto cassette tapes for sure.

Interesting note:  To record this show I apparently taped over another show, possibly the Renegades or Jungle Airwaves show from a few days before but I have no idea.  It contains an interesting sample from the original Transformers cartoon right at the very end of the tape.
